Does Covert Hypnosis Really Exist?

Covert hypnosis, often referred to as conversational hypnosis, sounds great.
But is it really possible to hypnotize someone just by talking to them?
If you’ve ever been mesmerized someone, you already know the answer is yes. It may have been your partner who took you into a trance - you just stared into their eyes and that was it. Which we often call “love at first sight” but in truth, you were hypnotized (maybe unknowingly) by your partner.
A lot of conversational hypnosis is based around a thing called an embedded command.
So if I asked you if you would like to think about eating a delicious meal, I’m really commanding (or telling) your mind to think about it.
Sometimes embedded commands can be quite blunt and to the point. Asking your child when they want to do their homework for instance.
Or they can be subtly blended into the words you use so that most people won’t know that you are asking them to do what you are asking. The subtle blends are often told in the form of a story.
People are more relaxed if you tell them a story. So if I started talking about the different things I did when I started to learn hypnosis and went into detail about trying to trance other people without their knowledge, you’d probably be consciously listening to what I told you I did.
I might then drop into the conversation that one of the ways to get someone to drop into trance now would be to use what is known as a pattern interrupt. This could be as simple as going to shake someone’s hand and then stopping just before the handshake took place - you may have seen street hypnotists perform this before. And you probably didn’t notice the command earlier in this paragraph that told you to drop into trance now. That one was aimed at you…
There are a couple of courses I’ve found that will teach you much, much more about this kind of covert hypnosis.
The “Rolls Royce” course is called Conversational Hypnosis and if you’re really serious about learning to use hypnosis in everyday conversation, it’s the one to go for.
More affordable, and still top quality, is the Hypnosis Coach course. It’s been written by a master hypnotist and comes with lots of bonuses to speed your learning.
Practice embedding commands in your everyday conversation. The more you do this, the more natural they’ll become and you’ll start to get people to do what you want without them even realizing it.
Enjoy!
