How to reduce the salt in your diet

One of things you’re “supposed” to do when you eat more healthily is reduce the salt in your food.
Food manufacturers are doing their bit to help by cutting down on the amount of salt they use in their recipes.
Trouble is, most of us end up reaching for the salt cellar and adding at least as much salt as the food manufacturers have taken out.
So how do you go about cutting your salt intake but keeping your palate happy?
One way is to gradually reduce the amount of salt you’re eating.
So long as you’re happy to read the small print on the labels, this is a good way to go.
Like any habit or addiction, ,ake sure that you cut down gradually. Going “cold turkey” isn’t fun and will likely backfire on you, causing you to crave salt.
Another way is to add a hypnosis track to your armory. Cut down on your salt intake and give yourself positive help and suggestions at the same time.
That way, you’ll be training your palette to expect less salt in the food you eat and will also be working with your mind to make sure that your thoughts don’t get in the way.
A salt reduction hypnosis track is inexpensive and - especially if your salt reduction is on doctor’s orders - will help you quickly and easily adjust to your new, lower salt, regime.
