If you want to be more successful in life, you have to go at it the right way. Obviously you can’t just mope around. And, no matter how appealing the idea is, you can’t normally think yourself to success like the law of attraction claims – although the right mindset is definitely a big part of the equation.
What you need to do is have a clear idea if where you want to get there (wherever “there” is), And then work out how to do it.
These ideas will help you on your path to having a more successful life:
Almost every successful person does this.
Most of them set incredibly big goals – often ones that appear impossible to start with.
Then they work towards them.
You’re probably thinking something along the lines of “that won’t work” or “what if you miss the goal?”
Firstly, it does work.
Secondly, so what if you miss the goal?
If I asked you to aim for the moon and you missed, you might or might not get out of our atmosphere.
But if I asked you to aim for the sun and you missed, chances are you’d get a reasonable distance past the moon.
The same happens with any other big goal.
Even if you miss, you’ll still get a lot further (and therefore be more successful) than if you had a small goal.
Enjoy what you do
Being miserable for any length of time isn’t part of being human.
You need to enjoy what you do for at least two reasons:
- You’ll have more fun!
- That fun will show up in how you do things – your enthusiasm will breed more enthusiasm
Your ideal job (or anything else in life) should be one that you’d do, even if you weren’t being paid for it.
Failure is OK
Almost every successful entrepreneur has failed more often than they’ve succeeded.
Definitely every professional (and amateur) sportsman or woman has lost a game. Even the winners at the top of the tables have some defeats.
The trick is to not be afraid of failure.
Obviously don’t keep doing the same thing just because you’ve always done it, especially when it becomes plain that whatever it is that you’re doing just isn’t working.
But failure is part and parcel of becoming more successful in anything. It’s an essential part of the process.
Think back to when you were a toddler – you failed to stand up lots of times but you kept at it and eventually you stopped crawling everywhere and were able to walk tall.
The same goes for anything else: practice, be prepared to fail, only quit if you’ve decided to. Not because you’ve failed a certain amount of times.
Tune your mind to be more successful
Your mind is a fine instrument but often it’s rudderless and no matter how much we think we’re in control, that’s not necessarily the case.
Part of the reason for that is that our subconscious mind is the part that’s in control of almost everything.
Hypnosis talks directly to your subconscious mind and sorts it out!
And that works fantastically well with becoming more successful.
