Fear of terrorism isn’t helped by the media. It seems that every time you watch the television news, there’s a story about terrorism.
And whilst it is sadly true that terrorist attacks do happen, the good news is that they are still very infrequent.
So how can you get your mind to acknowledge this and overcome your fear of terrorism?
You can start by ignoring the news. Switch it off. Don’t watch it! The same goes for newspapers and radio bulletins. They are full of negativity anyway, so cutting out your regular dose of news is a good start.
