Lasting Longer in Bed: the awkward problem of premature ejaculation
Lasting longer in bed is a sensitive subject at the best of times. But if you’ve suffered from premature ejaculation, don’t worry.
It’s one of the most common problems experienced by men – estimates vary (probably because we don’t like to admit it) from 25% to 80% of the population.
Which means you are most certainly not alone. (And your spam folder is probably testimony to that!)
So how do you cure your premature ejaculation and begin to last longer in bed?
Ideas for lasting longer in bed…
Try some or all of the following:
- Empty your bladder before having sex. It may sound daft, but if your bladder is full it will press on your prostate gland which then tells your body that it’s time to ejaculate.
- If you know you suffer from this problem, masturbate first. It will normally take you longer to reach orgasm the second time.
- Relax! The more you stress about the problem, the more it is likely to happen. Hypnosis can help a lot with this part of the problem.
- Concentrate on pleasuring your partner rather than orgasming yourself. This may take some practice but it’s practice that is worth doing.
- Let your partner go on top instead of you. This will help reduce any tension in your body, which should help you last longer.
- When you feel yourself getting close to orgasm, slow down. Anything helps – changing position can be especially useful here.
And one other way that is surprisingly easy and completely discrete is hypnosis.

Any one of many factors can be the cause of erectile dysfunction. If any of the previous sequence of events need to cause an erection is disrupted, ED may occur. The most common causes are damage to any of the arteries, muscle tissues, nerves, or fibrous tissues within the corpora cavernosa. Damage to the nerves, arteries, veins, and tissues is more often than not caused disease. Several different diseases can cause this damage. Arteriosclerosis, kidney disease, vascular disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, neurological disease, and chronic alcohol disease are all diseases that can cause this damage. Physical factors are not the only cause of ED. Depression, anxiety, low self esteem, guilt, emotional stress, fear of not being able to perform sexually, loss of desire for ones sexual partner are all mental factors that can cause ED. Smoking.
