Money Management Tip: How To Stop Your Impulse Buying
Let’s face it, everywhere you turn there are opportunities to spend more money.
Most stores are great at getting you to spend more cash than you originally intended. They call this “impulse buying” – where you look at something and think “yes, I’d like to buy that now”.
Which is kind of OK when times are good. But when money is tight, it pays to cut down your impulse buying and keep the cash in your wallet.
So, short of becoming a recluse, how can you stop buying things on impulse?
Making a list before you go shopping and then keeping to the list is a good start.
But then all those special offers leap out at you, offering 2 items for the price of one or 50% extra free. Or if you use Amazon, they’re out to tempt you as well with the “other people who bought this also bought these” lists.
It’s just not fair!
Especially when you promised yourself that you wouldn’t impulse buy on this shopping expedition.
The good news is that hypnosis can help you to reduce your impulse buying or even eliminate it completely.
