Is there an alcohol addiction cure?

Alcohol is easy to buy and “socially acceptable” in most Western countries.

Most people are OK with the occasional drink and there are even studies that suggest there are health benefits associated with moderate drinking.

But what happens if your social drinking turns into an addiction to alcohol. Does that mean you’ve got to give up drink for the rest of your life? Or is there an alcohol addiction cure?

Alcohol addiction cureConventional wisdom says that once you’ve become addicted to alcohol, that’s it. There’s no such thing as an alcohol addiction cure. You’re condemned to going to AA meetings for the rest of your life. And maybe that’s true for the truly alcohol addicted – those who can’t start the day without a drink.

Now for the bad news: like most addictions, you need to admit to your alcohol cravings. Nothing too heavy – it’s probably not your fault that you’ve developed a liking for alcohol. It’s more likely that you’ve been suffering from stress or depression or something similar and that tipped you over the edge from being a social drinker to someone who seems to need alcohol to survive.

The good news is that you can decide to overcome your addiction to alcohol.

Hypnosis is totally discrete – if you catch your addiction early enough, no-one will know you’ve used it. It’s also remarkably successful in helping people to cure their alcohol addiction.
